Altarpiece panel representing the scene of the Handcuffs of the Virgin. The priest is in the center of the composition. In front of him, the Virgin Mary and Saint Joseph with the flowery rod. The scene is framed inside an architecture. The sculptor and architect Pere Costa was artistically trained in Barcelona during the time when Archduke Carles d’Àustria had his court established there. He was the first Catalan sculptor who was part of the Academy of San Fernando in Madrid.
