Discover the hidden background of the museum
For the city festivities, the Museu de Manresa invites you once again to make a Discovery.
In this edition, we present two exceptional works that are part of the museum’s modern collection. Exceptional for being ephemeral decorations thought and designed for a very short period. A typology of Pieces that has hardly survived the passage of time, and of which few specimens are preserved throughout the country.
The presentation will be given by Doctor in Art History Maria Garganté i Llanes, professor at the Autonomous University of Barcelona. His areas of research focus on the study of Catalan art and architecture from the Baroque era, popular religiosity in the modern era, cultural heritage in a broad sense and gender studies.
The exhibition can be visited for free until next September 15.
