For Festa Major, the Museu de Manresa will invite you to “Descoberta 36”, where this year we will discover a unique item.
We will unveil a unique discovery: an archaeological piece recently unearthed during the museum’s rehabilitation works. This discovery is part of a votive offering that will take us back in time. The story will be presented by historian Francesc Comas Closas.
Following the conference, you will take part in a special tour to discover parts of the museum that are normally closed to the public. This guided tour will give you the opportunity to explore the new registration and documentation rooms, the museum’s behind-the-scenes work areas, and its collection storage facilities.
