The Festival of Sant Ignasi at the Museu de Manresa – Museu del Barroc de Catalunya

The Museu de Manresa-Museu del Barroc de Catalunya will take part on the 2026 edition of the Festival of Sant Ignasi with an activity program to all audiences.

Guided tour ‘ELS TRESORS BARROCS’

Guided tour to visit two of the most important baroque buildings of Manresa. We will discover the baroque treasures of the basilica of la Seu.

DIBUIXA EL BARROC · SANT IGNASI DE LOIOLA

Family activity where we will do a little drawing book from a sheet of paper and we will discover the Museu del Barroc. On this visit we will listen to the story of Sant Ignasi de Loiola and its link with the city of Manresa and the child will draw it.

Free activity with limited place. Recommended age: From 5 to 10 years old. For capacity concerns, it is recommended that each child attend with just one adult. Reservation is required at:

Monday, July 27th

At 9 am. Meeting point: Museu del Barroc de Catalunya (Plaça de Sant Ignasi, 14-16)

Guided tour ‘EL PAISATGE IGNASIÀ’

Through this tour we will discover the main elements of the landscape and history around this neighborhood of the city with a lot of influence of Saint Ignatius. The tour will start at the miniature of the medieval city at the Museu de Manresa, will go through the square of Sant Ignasi with its little botanical garden and will visit the Creu del Tort, the Pou de Llum, the Vall del Paradís, the Cova de Sant Ignasi, and the path dels Corrals. We will also go through the stairs installed at the Salt de la Creu del Tort and that connects with the path of the Font de Fans. It will take 1 hour and 30 minutes.

FAMILY ACTIVITY: ESCENARIS I TRANSFORMACIONS

Art workshop about transformation of the spaces through decorations, and inviting each child to create their own scenography with different characters and elements to encourage the creation of tales and stories.
Free activity without registration, with limited space. Recommended age: from 5 to 10 years old. The children need to be accompanied by an adult.
