It represents, in high relief, the theme of the Adoration of the Shepherds. The cradle with the Baby Jesus is in the center of the composition and, around it, there are Joseph, Mary, the ox and the mule and four shepherds, one with a long staff and another with a lamb as an offering. In the background, an arched architecture that hints at a detailed landscape. At the top, little angels between clouds. The set, which narrates the fifteen mysteries of the Virgin of the Rosary, is one of the most significant works by Joan Grau, the most representative author of the Baroque sculpture school in Manresa. In the Altarpiece of the Rose of the Church of Sant Pere Mártir, the sculptor demonstrates a great mastery of the high relief and the figures and among all the scenes this is the one that stands out for having a higher quality in the invoice.
