The scene is located inside the temple. In the foreground, a group of characters: on the right Saint Joseph (with his staff), Mary (kneeling), a priest with the Child in his arms and two other men and two women. In the background of the composition, you can see the architecture with columns and a series of little angels. The ensemble, which narrates the fifteen mysteries of the Virgin of the Rosary, is one of the most significant works of Joan Grau, the most representative author of the Baroque sculpture school in Manresa. In the Rose Altarpiece of the Church of Sant Pere Martir, the sculptor demonstrates a great mastery of high relief and figures.
