As every year, the Museu de Manresa-Museu del Barroc de Catalunya join the European Heritage Day with different activities and open house days. Here you can find the activity programm:

Open day at the Museu del Barroc de Catalunya
Open day at the Museu del Barroc de Catalunya, an institution witg national range that transforms Manresa into a key destination for the interpretation of Catalan Baroque art. Around 200 artworks, accompanied by music, video, and light effects, offered a fascinating journey through the culture, landscape, and art of the 17th and 18th centuries.

Exhibition “L’Assemblea Democràtica del Bages: una pionera oposició al franquisme”
The exhibition highlights the strength of unity, telling the story of generations who fought and took risks to regain democracy, through the example of the Assemblea Democràtica del Bages — a pioneering movement in the anti-Franco resistance in our country. This exhibition is part of the Memòria en Xarxa program.
Organized by: Museu de Manresa, Ajuntament de Manresa, and the Xarxa de Museus Locals of the Diputació de Barcelona.

Guided Tour at the Plans de Santa Caterina Archaeological Site
Come and discover this fascinating archaeological site with one of the archaeologists who took part in the excavation. The site has revealed objects that help explain a long stretch of history — from the Roman period through the medieval, early modern, and modern eras.
Meeting point: Path leading to the Torre de Santa Caterina from the Camí de les Pedreres. Is recommended came on foot.
