On May 18, the Museu del Barroc de Catalunya and the Museu de Manresa offer an open day and various free activities on the occasion of International Museum Day.

The International Museum Day is the most important event organized by the International Committee of Museums (ICOM) since 1977. Around this date, museums around the world organize different activities for all audiences and open their doors for free.

The aim of the celebration day is to raise awareness among visitors and citizens about the importance of museums in the development of society.
