Les Fosses de la Guerra Civil i el franquisme a la Catalunya Central

The event will be conducted by Alfons Aragoneses, general director of Memoria Democràtica, and the presentation will be given by Jordi Ramos, historian and archaeologist author of the study. Among the archaeological interventions in which he has participated, stand out those carried out in the city of Barcelona and in the heritage sites of the Civil War throughout Catalonia. In recent years he has worked on different campaigns for the identification and opening of pits, especially in the Valencian Country and Mallorca.

This publication, which is now available online, documents the pits of l’Anoia, el Bages, el Berguedà and el Moianès, and expands the information available to Mapa de fosses de la Generalitat de Catalunya.
